She has a personal mission of closing the racial wealth gap through entrepreneurship for women founders and founders of color. La’ Toya Richardson was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to parents with corporate backgrounds. She has over 15 years experience of working at top law firms throughout New York City, where she was able to utilize her love of the law and passion for helping people. Her past work experience has also helped enhance her personal skills and enables her to work well with different generations and people from all walks of life.
Kiyah is a 3rd year law student at the University of GA School of Law (Dar’shun’s alma mater). She has previous experience working for the Securities & Exchange Commission (S.E.C.). She is involved with the Business Law Society (which Dar’shun founded at UGA Law during her time there) and the Black Law Students Association. She is also involved in Moot Court and a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
